More than just a performance space, The Live Room Theatre is a creative hub where students can take the stage themselves. From open mic nights and battle of the bands to plays, musicals, and recitals, aspiring artists can showcase their talents—even opening for professional acts. We take great pride in this vibrant venue, providing a safe, welcoming, and alcohol-free space for unforgettable entertainment.
The Live Room Theatre, located within The Arts Complex, is a versatile venue that seats 160 for theatrical performances and accommodates up to 250 standing for live music events. Designed with families in mind, it welcomes audiences of all ages, with no alcohol served on the premises.
Since opening in 2014, The Live Room Theatre has hosted a diverse range of performances, including tribute acts, cover bands, puppet shows, musicals, plays, and more. It also serves as an invaluable resource for WAMA students, offering them the chance to experience live performances from both national and local artists—acts that typically perform in pubs and clubs.
