WAMA Trip To Shrek The Musical

Based on the award-winning DreamWorks animation film, SHREK THE MUSICAL is this year’s must-see show for all the family.

Join our unlikely hero and his loyal steed Donkey as they embark on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona from a fire breathing, love-sick dragon. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad, a gang of fairytale misfits, and a biscuit with attitude, and you’ve got the biggest, brightest musical comedy around!

Featuring all new songs as well as cult Shrek anthem I’m a Believer, SHREK THE MUSICAL brings all the much-loved DreamWorks characters to life, live on stage, in an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza. Join the adventure.

We are delighted and proud to be part of the amazing Winterval festival again this year and to be able to provide students with 8 fun and fantastic performance opportunity.  This year, WAMA's Big Bang drumming band will make a return with their fun and funky rhythms to warm up the crowd for the newly themed 'Santa's Giant Post Box Collection Show'.  Also  brand new to this years performance we will have Big Bang on their drumming mobile lead a parade of super hero's to New Street Gardens where anyone wearing a super hero costume can join in the fun and receive a treat from Hasbro  toys.  Can't wait! :-)

Back by popular demand, this December will see the return of the Drama/Dance Performance Workshop where students from our stage school will perform for their peers on stage in our Live Room Theatre.  This is an important stepping stone for our students as it helps to prepare them for more formal shows later in the year.  This was a great success last year, and students had a ball.
